Jake Rumsey is the founder and CEO of Shock Wear. Mr. Rumsey has an extensive history as an athlete playing football as a defensive end. His talents led him to play Division 1 College football at Stephen F. Austin. Mr. Rumsey found sucess at SFA until he obtained a career ending ACL & Meniscus injury. After Medically retireing from football Mr. Rumsey devoted his time in creating a Othopedic knee device that helps athletes absorb energy that there knees can't. After coming up with a Carbon Fiber frame with innovative shock absorbers on each side the company Shock Wear was born. Based in Dallas Texas, Shock Wear aims to serve athletes who suffer with knee instability to help ensure that they may continue to play the sport that they love without having to worry about injuries. The use of a lightweight carbon fiber frame with innovative shock absorbers has revolutionized how knee braces can help athletes absorb energy that there knees themselves cannot.
